Checking PAN card status
Everyone wants to know whether their PAN card is currently active or de-active. You can check whether your PAN card is currently active or not by following the simple step process below.
First of all open the official website of the Income Tax Department https://www.incometax.gov.in.
Then click on the VArify Your PAn option from the Quick Links menu on the left side of this website.
Then enter your PAN card number, PAN-wise full name, date of birth, and mobile number on the page that opens.
Click on the Continue option and OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter it.
After entering the OTP and further processing, a message will be displayed whether your PAN card is active or not.
Aadhaar PAN Link Status
You can check whether your Aadhaar card is linked to your PAN card or not from the official website of the Income Tax department. For this follow the steps below.
First of all open the official website of the Income Tax Department https://www.incometax.gov.in.
Then click on the Link Aadhar Status option from the Quick Links menu on the left side of this website.
Then enter your Aadhaar number and PAN number on the selected page.
Submitting will show your PAN Card and Aadhaar link.
